SCSJV, LLC recently held a kickoff for the CIO-SP3 GWAC. This successful event was made possible by the active participation of all team members.

Among the teaming partners present were: SourceHOV, World Wide Technology Inc., HealthCare Resolutions Services Inc., Management Support Technology Inc., The IQ Business Group Inc., Zimmerman Associates Inc.,Kingfisher Systems Inc., Strategy & Management Services Inc., enGenius Consulting Group, OneSpring, Millican & Associates Inc., Fusion Technologyand Agile. Many other partners were engaged in the proceedings via teleconference.

Keynote speaker, Randy Michael from the NITAAC, gave an energetic and informative overview of the CIO-SP3 GWAC. His entertaining presentation style kept the crowd on their toes and offered chances for engagement by everyone. We are grateful that Randy took the time to speak with our teaming members.

A strong sense of collaboration, motivation to succeed and a willingness to commit to mutual success was prevalent. The information and processes presented are a cornerstone for the future of the SCSJV.

SCSJV, LLC announced the award for the Chief Information Officer Solutions & Partners 3 - Small Business (CIO-SP3).
This Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is under the Small Business certification, and is awarded by the National Institute of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC).   The SCSJV has received two awards to date, under the Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business category, as well as the Small Business category. The Small Business award, like the SDVOSB award, is also a $20 billion contract with an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) has a ten-year period of performance.  All Federal, civilian and DOD agencies are eligible to place task orders against the IDIQ for their IT requirements.
 
The overall goal and focus of CIO-SP3 is to provide Government agencies the ability to quickly push out and order IT solutions and services at a reasonable cost.  Qualified small businesses have a greater opportunity to be a part in this requirement which provides Government agencies a mechanism to help meet their socio-economic contracting goals.
 
“These IT services meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial and information management requirements within a broad IT architecture requiring a systems approach to their implementations and a sound infrastructure for their operations,” NIH states on it’s CIO-SP3 website.
 
SCSJV will provide advisory and assistance services to support the full range of IT services and health IT needs across the Federal Government. These services include support of: IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare; Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support; Imaging; Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance; Digital Government; Enterprise Resource Management; and Software Development.
